The Arts: HORSE RACE with HORSE FACE
{Disclaimer: I didn't write this. No, honest I didn't. Please believe me, I'm voting for Kerry. Really, really, really. The poet's just a friend of mine and I thought it was funny. He was blackmailing me. I left my computer logged in when he was in the room. He offered me A LOT of money. It's a virus. Won't you PULEEZE believe me?! - The Editors :-}
J F Kerry, very scary
routinely cuts down military
Votes for war, but without funding
Excuse me? and you are running?
Simple question, twisted answer
Senator, a verbal dancer
Funding troops is ‘complicated’
Guy must be over-medicated
Tells Russert that he’s anti-war
His policy, revolving door
Polling shows he must be tough
So anti-wars not good enough
Take the hint, bump numbers fall
Act like Bush and stand up tall
Polling makes him re-arrange
Decision just a numbers game
US safety jeopardized
Security politicized
War record a fantasy
Election ploy, ‘ so vote for me…’
A purple heart or maybe three
Record availability?
Medals won, but you can’t see it
(written on discharge agreement)
John’s foreign policy does lack
“I will respond to each attack”
A General Custer re-enact?
Respond John? Please for once 1st act
Spends decades going loop de loop
Says Bush is wrong to bring home troops
“I’ll bring them home in just six months”
Again this man is such a dunce!
I’m telling you this guy is loopy
He thinks his pilots name is snoopy!
Twisted as a man can get
His writer is no Laureate
Hear him speak, so anal-ly
vote for him, insane-ely
Lies so extra-ordinary
Honestly, you need to worry
He says our US jobs won’t lag
I need an extra-strength barf bag
Has family business overseas,
He may as well be Japanese
Once Theresa made the rounds
Heinz product sales & stock went down
The Ketchup people disavowed
Connection to the Kerry crowd
Sure as Kennedy can’t sing
He wasn’t ‘born in the West Wing’
Convention speech could use a Kleenex
Licked his lips like River Phoenix
Listening to what he said
Just made me wish that I was dead
When I hear him my brain throws up
A landslide is in order, yup!
Cutting Intels just his thing
Missed Intelligence Briefing?
His blind ambition’s not the key
To winning this Presidency
Non-fiction, fact, an absolute
Dignity, respect and truth
Their candidate, the opposite
Those Democrats are desperate
Questioning loose liberal rumpus
A Party lost, no moral compass
Though J F Kerry walks among us,
Nixon’s ghost contains more substance
So JFK’s the anti-Bush
And Jerseys Gov’ner likes his tush
If that’s the path hire Michael Moore
(get more ass than you bargained for…)
He’s fit to flip, unfit to lead
Lack-luster lead-ability
Get thee Satin way behind me
Even Gore was not this slimey
Though I am just a right-wing poet
This candidate’s just wrong, you know it
Vote for Bush, be well-protected
But not if Kerry is elected . . .
Poem by Phil T. Rich
Statistical fact: 10 out of 10 terrorists agree: anybody but Bush!

I'm a Bush supporter and I found the "poem" juvenile in the extreme. I hope we find better writers than this guy before election day!
From a bumper sticker:
KERRY-EDWARDS
The Democrats are so full of crap they need two Johns.
Also juvenile, but much funnier.
